Uffculme Primary School is a member of the Uffculme Academy Trust which is the admitting authority, responsible for the admissions policies and decisions on applications for admission. We have an admissions policy for each academic year. They are written to comply with the School Admissions Code and School Admissions Appeals Code.
Admissions policy for 2025-26: Annual Consultation
Along with all other schools and academies in Devon, we are consulting on an admission policy for 2025-26. The Local Authority is also consulting on its admission arrangements. You are invited to look at the proposals which are based on policies for this year and next year and have your say.

The consultation runs until 12 January 2024. Policies will be determined by the end of February and published in the same places by 15 March next year. You can comment at schoolsadmissionpolicy-mailbox@devon.gov.uk or by emailing the school.
2025-2026 Admission Policy CONSULTATION
Applications to Uffculme Primary School should be made through Devon County Council (telephone 0345 155 1019) and will be considered in accordance with the arrangements set out in the co-ordinated admissions scheme for secondary schools in Devon.

All parents who wish to express a preference for a place at Uffculme Primary School, other than at the first intake to Reception, you must do so using the Devon Local Authority Common Application Form (D-CAF1). This is available online as part of the “Step by Step” primary admissions booklet, copies of which are available by calling the My Devon team on 0345 155 1019.

School Admission Appeal Process

School Appeals Timetable
If you are unhappy with the school place you’ve been offered, you can appeal for any of the schools you named in your application.
If you do not wish to accept an offer of a school place – either because your circumstances have changed or you are unhappy with the alternative offer we have made, please confirm this in writing either to the Devon Schools Admissions Team
