Uffculme Primary School Admissions

If you are considering applying for a place here at Uffculme Primary School, we would be delighted to speak to you about all aspects of our school.  If you would like to arrange a personal tour of the school, or request a copy of our prospectus, please do get in touch with us.

Although we act as our own admissions authority, we use the services of Devon County Council Admissions Team to administer applications on our behalf.

All parents who wish to express a preference for a place at Uffculme Primary School must do so using the Devon Local Authority Common Application Form (D-CAF1).  This is available online as part of the “Step by Step” primary admissions booklet, copies of which are available by calling the My Devon team on 0345 155 1019.

All applications need to have been made between November 2017 and January 2018.  The Local Authority co-ordinates admissions for all primary schools in Devon, and will write to you (or email if you have applied online) in April 2017 to advise of the school place you have been allocated for your child.

If you wish your child to be admitted to Uffculme Primary School other than at the first intake to Reception, even if one or more of your preferences is for a school outside Devon, you will need to complete the D-CAF1.

Our Admissions Policy for 2017/18 is available here.

Our Admissions Policy for 2018/19 is available here.

The application window for Year 7 secondary school admission in 2018 opens on Friday 1 September.  All the information you need, including a Step by Step Guide, is available on Devon's secondary school admission website via this link: https://new.devon.gov.uk/educationandfamilies/school-information/apply-for-a-school-place/apply-for-a-secondary-school-place
